Reviewing over 50 submissions from 19 different countries, the NBFF jury panel curated the NBFF Official Selection seeking dance films that deconstructed the body and experimented with elements within a specific site to challenge the possibilities of what dance can look like in video form.

The official kNOwBOX dance Film Festival 2019 selection features 8 dance films of both national and international filmmakers from Australia, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, South Korea, and the United States. Films explored the body and environment to challenge dance norms.
