Co-Founder of Dallas-based multimedia company The DigiBees, Jirard is a multifaceted artist & award-winning filmmaker. He has directed Music Videos for a host of artists, including Avery Sunshine, Fred Hammond & Eric Roberson. He has also lent his talents as a Director of Photography to a number of short & feature-length films. He is currently working on, "Mosiah" the first-ever narrative film about Marcus Garvey. It will be his narrative directorial debut. He is also working on "Colour Treatment", a series of documentaries that explore the mainstream representation of blacks in film/TV, its evolution, and impact on today's culture and community.

Bart Weiss

Dallas, Texas, USA

Bart Weiss is an award-winning independent film and video producer, director, editor, and educator who has lived in Dallas since 1981. Mr. Weiss has taught film and video production at Texas A&M’s Visualization Lab, Southern Methodist University, the University of Texas at Austin and Arlington, Dallas Community College District and West Virginia State College. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Independent Video and Filmmakers, serves on the Board of Directors of the University Film and Video Association, is a past Vice President of the Texas Association of Film and Tape Professionals, founder and past president of the West Virginia Filmmakers’ Guild, and co-founder of VideoFest and the Video Association of Dallas. He has been a video columnist for The Dallas Morning News, The Dallas Times Herald, United Features Syndicate and KERA 90.1 FM Radio in Dallas. Mr. Weiss received an MFA in Film Directing from Columbia University in 1978 and a B.A. from Temple University in 1975. In 2012 he was named a finalist in the Annual Art Awards by the Dallas Observer.

Ok Hee Jeong

Ok Hee Jeong is dance researcher, educator, and critic. As a former member of the Universal Ballet Company in South Korea and the Guangzhou City Ballet in China, she earned Ph.D. in dance at Temple University, U.S., with the dissertation that explores the influence of media on the ways dance is preserved and represented in the North American dance field. Jeong has published researches and books, including Lives of Dances(2020) and The Evolving Ballet Class(2022). Her research interests include otherness, dance media, ballet, and performativity. Jeong is currently a visiting professor at Ewha Womans University.

Y. Chan LEE is a multi-cultural producer that provides exciting, new experiences for audiences in which cultures meets cultures. With works generally based on contemporary dance, music, theatre and musical.

 

Founded Yellowbomb in 2018, and has successfully produced over 100 global events and performances. Under the leadership of Y. Chan Lee, the company continues to further expand its reach as a global performance company.

Ximena Monroy Rocha

Artist and curator around intermediality between moving image, choreography and visual arts. MA in Art History (UNAM). Her practice derives through various media inside artistic and cultural mediation processes. Her artistic work have developed in videographic, scenic and installation projects. She co-founded and directs the Agite y Sirva Festival, which is part of international screendance, dance and cinema networks. She designs and facilitates academic programs as the International Choreocinema Certificate. Her work has been presented in Akureyri, Buenos Aires, Hanoi, Lisboa, Madrid, Mexico, Montreal, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Seoul, Shanghai, Stockholm, Toronto, among others.

César Brodermann

Originally from Mexico City. Queer Multidisciplinary Artist, Contemporary Dancer, Choreographer, Photographer and Artistic Director.

His work combines movement, performance, photography and film studying the unlimited potential of the human being and his connection with the earth.

The search for freedom, distance and the notion of self are ideas that César constantly studies. He does this through artistic practices that he has discovered, implementing them in his daily life.

From 2014 to 2018 César resides in New York where he graduates with honors from the Peridance Capezio Center Certificate Program in Contemporary and Classical Dance. During their time in New York City, they worked with a variety of artists and companies, including Andrea Miller's Gallim Dance.

From 2018 to 2022 he resides in Tel Aviv where he works as the first Mexican dancer in one of the most internationally recognized dance companies 'Batsheva Dance Company'- The Batsheva Ensemble under the direction of Gili Navot performing works by Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Noa Zuk, Bobbi Jenne & Or Schrieber as well as developing 5 creative processes as part of the Batsheva Dancers Create program, he is a Certified Gaga Teacher

His choreographic work has been presented at International Festivals such as The Lila López Festival in San Luis Potosí, The FIDCDMX in Mexico City, INSITU Dance Festival in New York, New Blue Dance Festival in Toronto Cesar presented his most recent creation BORDERLINE at Suzanne Dellal Center in Israel, Tel Aviv.
