The heart of our organization

We believe that by going outside of any four-cornered box we can empower dancers and creators across the globe. Our ambassador program does just that! Our ambassadors connect us with communities around the world and provide us with insightful feedback so we deliver quality experiences, education, conversations, and connections for everyone in our community and theirs. Ambassadors engage with individualized projects and responsibilities that foster experiential and transferable professional skills, connect with an international network of artists and art organizations, and get behind the scenes experience with kNOwBOX dance programming. This partnership program opens up new opportunities for ambassadors and us to to think outside of the box about dance as a vital art form and as a method for conversation, creativity, collaboration, inspiration, and change. When you're an ambassador, you're not just a partner, you're an extension of our mission and an inspiration to our community on and offline. Our ambassador program has a work-study structure — ambassadors work with and are mentored by the kNOwBOX dance team and, in exchange, receive access to kNOwBOX dance programming and other perks listed below.
